Which New York airport is best for a group?
The one on the ticket, first. After that, geography decides. LaGuardia is closest to Midtown at about 8 miles and suits Manhattan, north Brooklyn, and Queens. JFK is about 15 miles out and is often the better airport for south Brooklyn and Long Island. Newark Liberty, about 16 miles away, is the natural choice for Jersey City, Hoboken, and Downtown Manhattan through the Holland Tunnel. Teterboro serves private and charter flights and is about 12 miles from Midtown.
How does an airport Sprinter pickup work?
Put the flight number on the booking. Dispatch tracks the flight and the chauffeur is timed to the real landing. The chauffeur meets the group at baggage claim with a name sign, and at Teterboro at the FBO. Domestic arrivals include 30 minutes of free wait and international arrivals include 60, after which time bills at the hourly rate in 15-minute steps.

What does an airport Sprinter cost?
Every airport transfer starts at $600: the $200 hourly starting rate with a 3-hour minimum, for the whole group rather than per person. Arrivals and departures are priced the same way. Your final price is confirmed in your quote and can vary with taxes, tolls and availability.
How is a departure pickup timed?
For a flight out, dispatch works backwards from the departure time: the airline’s check-in window, then the top of the drive range for that airport, then a buffer for the busiest days. UN General Assembly week, the US Open, New York Fashion Week, and summer Fridays all slow the roads, and those weeks should be booked 48-72 hours ahead. Tell dispatch the airline and terminal as well as the flight number, so the van pulls up at the right departures curb. At JFK and Newark the terminal roads loop in one direction, and a missed terminal costs a full lap.
What if the group lands at one airport and leaves from another?
That is common, and each leg is its own transfer. A team might land at Newark, spend three days in Midtown, and fly home from LaGuardia, or a wedding party might arrive at JFK and leave on a charter from Teterboro. Book both legs together so the confirmation carries the right airport, terminal, and time for each, and add any change of hotel between them.
