How an airport Sprinter transfer works

You book one van and give us the flight number. Dispatch follows the flight, so the pickup moves with the aircraft, early or late. The group follows the confirmed meeting instructions to one person with a name sign, then boards at the authorized car-service pickup area. The whole group rides together with the luggage.

Arrivals and departures share the same pricing. For a departure, tell us the flight time and we work backward from it, leaving extra room for a Friday afternoon or a holiday weekend.

Who an airport Sprinter suits best

The van earns its place when six or more people arrive on the same flight, or within an hour of each other: the family with strollers and car seats, the sales team landing for a Monday kickoff, the wedding party arriving in three waves.

Bags are the second reason. Count golf bags, ski bags, instrument cases and garment bags when choosing the Sprinter build. The Executive build has a rear luggage bay and most seat 14. The Limo build seats about as many but has no luggage space.

What to put on the airport booking

Small details keep a busy terminal from turning into a phone tree.

• Airline, flight number and terminal if you know it.
• Headcount, checked bags and oversized items.
• Ages of any children who need a rear-facing, forward-facing or booster seat. There is no charge when requested at booking.
• A mobile number for the lead traveler.
• A second stop if the group splits, for example a Brooklyn drop before Midtown.

Jersey City to JFK / Newark Airport Shuttle

A Jersey City group heading to JFK may travel through Manhattan or via Staten Island and Brooklyn, which is a long day if it lands on a Friday afternoon. Pickups at Newport, Exchange Place or Journal Square load differently, so name the entrance and who boards there.

For Newark Airport, give the flight and terminal rather than just "Newark." Newark Penn Station and the airport are different places. Add the return leg with its own flight number in the same request.

Islip (ISP) and Westchester (HPN) Airport Shuttle

Islip MacArthur Airport is in Ronkonkoma, in Suffolk County, and Westchester County Airport is in Harrison, near White Plains. Both are in our service area. Name the airport on the request, because "the Long Island airport" could mean JFK or ISP.

For HPN, list the street address in Westchester or Greenwich, since White Plains, Scarsdale and Rye are different runs. For ISP, tell us if you're continuing to the North Fork or the Hamptons, and quote that as a complete itinerary.

Which highways the van uses from each airport

JFK to Midtown usually means the Van Wyck, the LIE and the Queens-Midtown Tunnel, with the Van Wyck, LIE and BQE to the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel for Lower Manhattan. LaGuardia uses local roads to the BQE and LIE toward the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. Newark uses the Turnpike to the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel. Teterboro uses Route 46 and the Turnpike eastern spur, then Route 495 to the Lincoln Tunnel.

Airport shuttle service near me: private, not shared

A shared-ride ticket puts you in a van with strangers, with stops for other people. A private Sprinter is only your group, with stops you approve. If your group of nine lands together, the private van is usually simpler to coordinate than three shared tickets.

A single airport transfer starts at $600: $200 an hour with a 3-hour minimum. Waiting inside the booked hours is included, and domestic arrivals get 30 free minutes after landing, international arrivals 60. After that, time bills at the hourly rate in 15-minute steps.

Tolls and taxes are extra, and availability on your date affects the final quote. If you add a second terminal or a hotel stop, tell us early.
